FALL 2007

Greetings to our Chateau Blanc Friends!

With less than two months before the start of another winter ski season, it is a good time to look ahead and start making plans for a return vacation at the Chateau Blanc in beautiful Aspen, Colorado.

We have had a fun filled summer with some spectacular weather and are now in the peak of the fall colors, which is an amazing time of year in the mountains. Road trips, bike rides, hiking or walks are a must to get to some of the most beautiful scenery around. By mid October, it will change again and the winter will not seem so far off.

We have our early booking discount of 15% going once again until December 1. You must reserve before December 1 in order to qualify for this discount. By booking early, we hope to be able to find the accommodations that are just right for your group. We can discuss discounted lift tickets as well. I know everyone appreciates the specials we offer from time to time so be sure not to miss out on this.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass will be opening first on November 22 and closing April 13. Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands will open on December 8 and close April 6. Easter is Sunday, March 23 so we expect that to be a popular time with it coming so early this year. Women’s World Cup races will be held on Aspen Mountain December 7-9 and that is a pretty exciting event for Aspen. And the ever popular ESPN Winter Xgames are Jan. 24-27. Aspen’s winter festival called Winterskol will be January10-13.

We all know it can be difficult to fly into Aspen with the ever changing weather. But when you can, it is wonderful to land at our airport that is just minutes from downtown Aspen. We have flights on United coming in from Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Delta flies to Aspen via Salt Lake City and US Airways (America West) comes in via Phoenix. Don’t forget looking into the many flights that come into the Eagle/Vail airport that is just a 90 minute drive from Aspen. Flights coming in and going out are much more reliable because of the location of this airport.

Please give us a call if you would like to start planning your time in Aspen. We can discuss the best rate, the unit that works best for you, the costs with lift tickets, any information you may need about Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Buttermilk or Aspen Highlands as well as information about Aspen and events. Click here to email us or call our toll free number 800-458-8871. We look forward to hearing from you again!
